Ipod Software Update

http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/softwareupdate.html

Are they seriously charging $10 dollars for this? The ability to cut and paste? Peer to peer gaming? Those games suck, and I would never play them unless I was trapped in a desert. I like the keyboard and the music search, but seriously, no way am I paying for this. I assume it will be free in 2 months anyway.

Homer Simpson GPS

http://www.tomtom.com/page/simpsons

Now you can have Homer Simpson guide you to all of your destinations with this new GPS voice. Tom Tom is selling it, and I think it's a great way to separate themselves from a market in which not many people are well educated. My only concern is that I doubt that Homer reads street signs, and I hate GPS that only gives directions but doesn't tell you the location to make those directions.

"Turn left on Broadway" is good. "Turn left." is bad.

Don't go to apple.com when you need help figuring out what's wrong with your iPod. This is the real site.

Project Natal

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/projectnatal/

I don't mean to be a Negative Nancy, but I would be shocked if they are able to do anything like this in the next 10 years. Nice to get our hopes up though.

Cheap IPhones

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/28/technology/28cell.html?ref=business

What did Onyx say? Bootlegging Mfers stealing my tape, you get shot!

So China has a big thing about bootlegging Iphones, Samsungs and Nokia. Best of all, they don't even try to hide it. They call them Hi-Phones, Somsungs, and Nckia. HAHAHAHAHA...

I gotta admit this reminds me of that Simpson's episode where Lisa gets a MyPod.

Seriously, this is wrong, and hard working American's are losing money to this..............

however if anyone is in China....

just saying, my bday is May 9th. That's all.

F My Life

http://www.fmylife.com/

No, seriously...this is a site about people telling pathetic stories about their lives. How am I even able to find stuff this great on the internet? Here's a little dose of what you could be reading:

Today, I was at a pool party. Standing outside of the pool, I was hesitant about taking my shirt off. A girl in the pool shouted "Hey, you're not the only fat one here, don't feel bad!". I was worried about what my friends would think of my new bellybutton ring, I don't think I'm fat. FML

What's that German word about getting pleasure from other's misery? Oh yeah, it's fmylife.com, lol

Describe "Rich"

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/08/fashion/08halfmill.html?_r=1

I forgot I never posted this unintentionally hilarious article about how Wall Street people can't survive in NYC on 500k. It really makes you think about that song Mo Money Mo Problems. I guess if you don't know now you know...person.

iPod Shuffles for only $21.77!!!

http://www.businessweek.com/technology/content/apr2009/tc20090410_507831.htm

That is if you build it...

Sorry about the false advertising. Apple's little engine that could, the Ipod Shuffle, only costs $21.77 to make. Now while a new Ipod Shuffle only costs $79 so that's a profit of $57.23.

Honestly, The US Treasury Department should just give Apple their own printing press because they're just raking in dough like crazy. Kind of sad when I think about how I hated my Macintosh in 1995 because I couldn't buy the new Tie-Fighter game because Lucas Arts didn't give a crap about Apple. How times change.

Slang O' The Day

http://slang.otheday.com/

Yesterday I was wondering, "who are the dynamic people in charge of the new slang whenever it comes out?" How do these things catch on with the masses? Is it organic, or is it some evil yuppie in corporate America who is pulling the strings like some kind of Illuminati? Slang.otheday.com may not have the answers but it's fun anway.

I tried to invent my own work in 1994. It was called "pharkus." It mean dork and loser. I just kept calling people that and eventually it caught on with my people. Unfortunately summer vacation came, and the next year all the magic was gone. Maybe it's time to bring it back...
